Park Air Systems' GAREX Voice Communication Control Systems (VCCS) represent the state-of-the-art within ATC voice switching. Over 450 GAREX VCCS have been implemented in more than 45 nations around the world. The GAREX 220 family will meet all voice communication needs, from small tower applications to the largest Area Control Centres (ACC).

 

Advanced networking capabilities allow several systems to be interconnected, creating a virtual network infrastructure where operational and maintenance resources are commonly available across the entire network.

 

The latest-generation GAREX 220 VCCS, utilises highly modular and fully distributed architecture, with full redundancy for critical system elements, to achieve unprecedented availability figures (99.99998%).

 

Telephone, radio and intercom functionality recommended by ICAO; IFATCA, ATCA, IFATSEA, EUROCONTROL- as well as additional features to meet national and local requirements - are implemented in the open-system hierarchical structure of the GAREX 220 VCCS.

 

The powerful Roles concept enables full flexibility of the system, enabling changes in Scenarios to be controlled manually, automatically at a set time, or under control of the airspace management system - and roles and scenarios can be created and modified while the system is operational.

 

The GAREX SoundTouch ^TM III Controller Working Positions (CWP) enables a choice of audio interfaces as well as a selection of optional features: short-time recording and playback, telephone book, service LAN connection and more. User information is presented in a friendly and well-organised layout with simple intuitive control of all key functions. Touch Screen Panel layouts and functionality can be tailored to meet a range of user requirements.
